About this painting
We, at Shree Jai Arts, have spent 25 years mastering the intricate traditions of Tanjore painting. This painting depicting Lord Murugan in a serene seated posture, accompanied by peacock and holding his powerful Vel, is hand-painted by our founder and Master Artisan, Mrs. Deepa Jai.
Commitment to Authenticity
Unlike mass-produced works that use pre-made boards from the market, we prepare our own boards. This is a meticulous 3-day process where we hand-set the cloth onto the base to ensure the painting never cracks or fades. While it is a tedious task, it is the only way to guarantee the structural integrity and longevity of the painting.
